General Terms and Conditions
If you register for a course, the following contractual conditions apply
1. Registration and Contract
By registering in writing by post or e-mail, you offer us a binding offer to conclude the contract
and at the same time accept our general terms and conditions. This also applies to all persons
listed in the registration, for whose contractual obligations the registering party is also liable.
The registration is binding if it is not revoked within 2 working days after receipt.
With the acceptance of the registration by us, the valid teaching contract for the duration of the
booked course comes into effect; you will be informed of this by sending a confirmation of
registration and an invoice. Included in the contract are service descriptions, the conditions and
other explanations for the individual seminars as described on the homepage and in brochures.
2. Payment
After conclusion of the contract, the course fee will be transferred to the account of the organizer. A place in the booked course is reserved when the course fee arrives in the organiser’s account. If we are unable to confirm your registration (e.g. in the event of overcrowding), we will contact you immediately in order to find a suitable alternative course in consultation with you. If this is not possible, you will be reimbursed immediately and in full for any payment already made.
If the total amount has not been paid in full at the beginning of the seminar, we are entitled to claim damages in the amount of the corresponding cancellation fees.
Please transfer the total amount according to the conditions and deadlines described here to the account you will find in your email confirmation:
Please include: course + course date
3. Services
The content and scope of the contractual services and prices are binding in accordance with the descriptions on our website, brochures and catalogues, the registration documents, in particular in the course registration and the registration confirmation. Subsidiary agreements, special agreements, agreed special requests require written confirmation.
The prices stated in our seminar description apply; these include (unless otherwise stated in the seminar description): careful preparation and implementation of the seminar, seminar documents, arranging accommodation on request. For seminars with board and lodging (according to the seminar description) for the specified period: the price for accommodation varies depending on the type of accommodation. Please check your choices here: lodging options
Travel expenses for arrival and departure and any insurance premiums are not included in the price.
The seminar begins and ends on the dates specified in the seminar description
4. Service and Price Changes
Should deviations and changes from the agreed contract become necessary after conclusion of
the contract, which were not brought about by us contrary to good faith, these are only permitted
if they are not significant and do not affect the overall design of the booked seminar.
We must inform you of such a permissible change to a service immediately after we become
aware of the reason for the change; in this case you can withdraw from the contract free of charge
or instead request participation in another seminar of at least the same value. In such a case, you
must assert these rights immediately after receipt of our declaration.
Price changes are not allowed after the course has been booked. As a rule, the fees for the
following year are fixed in October of the previous year and then remain unchanged.
5. Withdrawal, rebooking, substitutes
At any time before the start of the seminar, you can withdraw from the booking by means of a
corresponding written declaration. The receipt of your declaration of withdrawal by us is decisive
for the time of withdrawal.
In the event of withdrawal from the contract or non-appearance, we can demand a lump sum
compensation per registered participant calculated according to the price listed in the seminar
description to compensate for the costs we have already incurred as follows: from the 90th day
before the start of the seminar 25%, from the 45th day before the start of the seminar day before the start of the seminar 45%, from the 20th day before the start of the seminar 65%, from the 5th day before the start of the seminar to 90% from the 1st day before the start of the seminar (date of arrival) to 100%
If you do not appear at the seminar without having received a written declaration of cancellation,
the full seminar price will be charged.
If a substitute person takes his place through the mediation of a registered participant, we are
entitled to demand a lump sum of €20 for the additional work involved; if we provide a
replacement person, this flat rate increases to €45.
If the minimum number of participants specified in the course description is not reached or if the course cannot take place due to unforeseeable circumstances, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract up to 7 days before the start of the course. We will inform you immediately, the payments you have already made will be refunded immediately and in full. The costs you have already incurred (e.g. for travel cancellation insurance or travel expenses) cannot be reimbursed in the event of cancellation on our part. Further claims do not exist.
6. Warranty, Liability and Limitation of Liability
We undertake to provide the services described through conscientious preparation and
implementation of the seminars in such a way that they have the guaranteed content and are not
afflicted with errors that reduce or eliminate the value or suitability of the entire event. As part of
the duty of care of a prudent businessman, we guarantee conscientious seminar preparation,
careful selection and monitoring of the lecturers and service providers, correctness of the service
descriptions and proper provision of the agreed services. If the seminar or a service is not
provided or only provided inadequately, you can request remedial action, take remedial action
yourself, terminate the contract or request a reduction in the seminar price. The participant is
obliged to cooperate in the event of disruptions to performance within the framework of the
statutory provisions, to avoid any damage or to keep it to a minimum.
Notwithstanding these rights, you can also demand compensation for non-performance, unless
the defect is due to a circumstance for which we are not responsible. We are not liable for
disruptions in performance in connection with third-party services (e.g. excursions, supporting
programme, etc.) that we only mediate.
The contractual liability for damage that is not bodily harm is limited to three times the seminar
price, insofar as damage to the seminar participant is not caused intentionally or through gross
negligence, or insofar as we are solely responsible for damage incurred by the seminar participant
due to the fault of a service provider.
We are not liable for disruptions in performance in connection with third-party services that are
only mediated and are expressly marked as such in the seminar description.
A claim for damages is limited or excluded insofar as a claim for damages against the service
provider can only be asserted under certain conditions or restrictions due to international
conventions or statutory provisions based on such, which are to be applied to the services to be
provided by a service provider certain conditions are excluded.
The traveler must be responsible for participation in other leisure activities; We are only liable for
accidents that occur during such activities if it can be proven that we are at fault.
All claims must be made in writing within one month of the end of the course. Contractual claims
of the participant expire after 1 year, claims for damages due to bodily harm or death expire 3
years after the contractually agreed end of the seminar.
The participant has to bear any costs arising from illness during the event as well as expenses for
a possibly necessary special transport home. He is obliged to consult a doctor before booking the
trip if his state of health gives cause for concern.
In this context, we recommend that travelers take out travel insurance in their own interest and
also take out an insurance package consisting of travel health insurance, emergency assistance
insurance and luggage insurance.
7. Miscellaneous
All information in our seminar descriptions is published subject to legal or official approvals.
Details of this seminar description correspond to the status at the time of publication or printing.
Should one of the above provisions be or become ineffective, this does not result in the
ineffectiveness of the entire general travel conditions.
In addition, the provisions of the Travel Contract Act of the German Civil Code (BGB) §§ 651 ff apply, insofar as we are not just agents of individual travel services or travel programs of third- party tour operators.
